How to Find Your Computer’s IP Address

You can quickly check your local and public IP addresses in Windows.

Method 1 — Command Prompt​

1. Press Windows + R, type:
   

   cmd

   and press Enter.
2. Type:
   

   ipconfig

   and press Enter.
3. Look for IPv4 Address — that’s your local IP.

Method 2 — Public IP​

1. Open your browser.
2. Go to: https://whatismyip.com
3. Your public IP address will be displayed at the top of the page.
