Staff How to Get the Free Magna Collider on Origins – BO3 Zombies

Origins has a small side Easter egg that rewards you with a free Pack-a-Punched MG08/15, called the Magna Collider.

To get it, you first need to build the Maxis Drone, then use it to collect four hidden yellow discs around the map. Once all four have been collected, the Magna Collider appears beside the Pack-a-Punch machine.

Step 1 – Build the Maxis Drone​

Before starting, you need to have the Maxis Drone built and ready to use.

Once you have it, take the Drone with you to each of the following locations.

Step 2 – Yellow Disc Near Spawn​

From the starting area, take the route toward Generator 2.

Just outside Spawn is a blocked-off trench filled with burning debris. The first yellow disc is hidden at the end of this trench.

Deploy the Maxis Drone close to the disc and allow it to collect it.

Step 3 – Yellow Disc Near Generator 5​

Head toward Generator 5.

Look up at the destroyed wooden roof beside the Generator 5 area. One of the yellow discs is positioned on the damaged structure above you.

Deploy the Maxis Drone nearby so it can retrieve the disc.

Step 4 – Yellow Disc at the Church​

Next, head to the Church.

The third disc is located on the broken Church roof around the tank route.

Look upward toward the damaged section of the roof.

Release the Maxis Drone nearby and let it collect the disc.

Step 5 – Yellow Disc at the Excavation Site​

The final disc is around the Excavation Site.

Look for the wooden scaffolding above the Excavation Site entrance.

Deploy the Maxis Drone close to the scaffolding. Once it collects this disc, you should have all four.

Step 6 – Collect the Magna Collider​

After collecting all four yellow discs, head to the top of the Excavation Site where Pack-a-Punch is located.

A weapon will now be waiting in front of the Pack-a-Punch machine.

Walk up to it and interact when you see:

“Hold E for Magna Collider”

The Magna Collider is the upgraded version of the MG08/15, giving you an already Pack-a-Punched LMG without having to spend 5,000 points upgrading it yourself.

The Magna Collider​

Once picked up, the weapon name Magna Collider will appear on your HUD.

It gives you a powerful upgraded LMG with a large ammunition reserve, making this a useful side Easter egg to complete during an Origins game.

Quick Summary​

To get the free Magna Collider:

1. Build and pick up the Maxis Drone
2. Collect the yellow disc near Spawn
3. Collect the yellow disc near Generator 5
4. Collect the yellow disc on the Church roof
5. Collect the yellow disc near the Excavation Site
6. Return to Pack-a-Punch and claim the Magna Collider

Deploy the Maxis Drone near each disc so it can collect it. Once all four have been collected, the free Pack-a-Punched MG08/15 — the Magna Collider — appears at Pack-a-Punch.
